Paul Vaucher

Paul Vaucher completed his osteopathic training in 2001. He then worked in a group practice for 8 years while engaging in research and ethics. After obtaining a CAS in health law, he achieved a master's degree in clinical research from the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Diseases. While working at the University of Lausanne in community research, Paul became interested in social epidemiology and psychosocial stressors. He then committed full-time to research during his Ph.D. in applied neuroscience from 2010 to 2014 at the University of Geneva. He is currently in charge of the Research Unit in Mobility and Musculoskeletal System’s Care at the Haute École de Santé de Fribourg. His areas of interest are community mobility, communication in care, IT tools to aid decision-making and non-specific therapeutic effects.
